SAYANG SAYANG
Growing up in Singapore I was always fascinated by the different cultures of the city. Many cultural practices, however, were diminishing. In particular the Peranakan culture. I wanted to attract the younger generation to take on cultural practices, especially in the kitchen and thus set up a cooking academy where people can come together to learn about the food and culture of the Peranakan community in Singapore.
